I set this Exhibition up in
a large vacant lot in downtown Moab in the spring of 2005. It was there for 6 months and became an a very popular tourist
attraction. Thousands of photos were taken by tourists posing in front of a tipi that summer. Moab has
a lot of visitors from other countries and they were delighted to see these tipis up close, and to have the chance to
go inside of them. They have a fascination for the American west, and its history. The native Americans lived in harmony
with the land for thousands of years, and barely left a trace. In the Moab area there are many locations where you can still
view paintings on flat rock surfaces from ancient times. I've painted some of those images on these Tipis.
